Natural reserve. If you are quiet, you hardly hear anything from a city. The bike path is very slippery in places and some corners, which, how should it be otherwise, are misused by NUNKI (night and fog tippers). The penalties for such hollow heads are far too mild. The path is not necessarily something for totally inexperienced cyclists> 60.

The Kirchderner Forest nature reserve in Dortmund was established in 2005 and covers an area of 26.4 hectares. It serves as a protected area for semi-natural deciduous forests as well as ponds and wetlands in order to preserve the biodiversity of animal and plant species. In addition, it provides habitat for rare species such as the grass snake and the midwife toad. More than 31 breeding bird species have already been recorded here.
