The estate was built in 1729 in the Wesuwer Mark area as a country estate for Johann Bernhard Lipper (1700–1788), who was appointed chief war commissioner and rent master of the Meppen office in the same year. Lipper was married to Maria Hermine Pictorius (1706–1785), a daughter of the builder Gottfried Laurenz Pictorius. The architects Wilhelm Ferdinand Lipper and Clemens Lipper came from this marriage.

The golf park is located on the approximately 300-year-old manor house at Düneburg, surrounded by stately oak trees and a geest strip. There is both a championship course and a public golf course here. On the latter, you can just sniff the sport and hit a few balls.

Unfortunately the restaurant is currently (09.2021) closed, at least temporarily. In any case, I couldn't take a coffee break there. However, golf can still be played.
