The girl playing, the mother with her inquisitive child and the boy relaxing with his little dog next to him and browsing a few books.
The ideas for the lively scenes at the bubbling water feature on Steinweg did not come from the artist himself. He made the figures based on a poem by Marlies Ebeling, the donor of these sculptures.
Marlies Ebeling had already donated the market women figures on the market square in the name of her deceased husband.
