At a height of 669 meters, Hartaval is the second highest summit on the Trotternish Ridge after The Storr. Keep in the mind that the weather can change and good navigation skill might be necessary. So bring appropriate clothing and at least a paper map.

One of the peaks on the Trotternish Ridge.

If the weather is bad it's fairly exposed up here and can be very wet and windy. Please ensure you're handy with a map and compass if the visibility is bad as things could go horribly wrong if you stray too close to the edge.
