This bay is known for its fossil findings. 170 Million years ago, this area was home to dinosaurs like plesiosaur. If you look closely, you might find some ammonites or belemnites.

To get down to the bay, you have to follow a steep zig-zag path close to the small power station.

Bearreraig Bay, is a stunning spot known for its Jurassic-era fossils, including ammonites and belemnites. The cliffs belong to the Bearreraig Sandstone Formation, dating back millions of years. A 3.2 km loop walk, taking about 1.5 to 2 hours, leads to the bay. The path includes a steep descent, requiring sturdy footwear.
