The refuge in the valley on Kyrbach / Kirchberger Berg is located on the hiking trail from Oberkirn to Schwerbach, Sohrschied and Lindenschied. Here you have to cross the Kyrbach over the bridge. There are still many trees on the other side, the path is difficult to find.
This year the refuge was in a state that lived up to its name (Bachwutz house). One could assume that the robber captain Schinderhannes, Julchen and their gang had spent the last nights there.
