Nice view - the last steps are very steep - very similar to the Rehbergturm a few kilometers away.

The tower is 14m high and stands on the 504m high Treutelsberg. It is easily accessible via a spiral staircase. From above you have a good view of the Odenwald, the Black Forest and the Vosges.

Because of the tall trees, the view is limited to the view towards N and W. You can not look at the Rhine plain at all. If there is a tower, then please also free all-round view.

The Martinsturm on the Treutelsberg is a 14 m high observation tower, which was built from sandstone in 1886 and used to be used to protect forest fires.

Great all-round view of the Palatinate Forest. The stairs are quite short, quite dark and only the top steps are very steep.

Lookout tower made of sandstone on the Treutelskopf (504m). Be careful, the staircase is relatively dark and the top steps at the exit are extremely steep. From the covered viewing platform you have a great view of the Odenwald, the Black Forest and the Vosges. There are several places to sit by the tower for a rest.

Beautiful tower made of sandstone with a great view. The upper sandstone steps are very narrow and you have to be careful when descending.
