Built at the end of the 19th century and initially owned by the ice skating club, the building was sold in the 1960s and has since been used as a discotheque or restaurant. The lavish festivals and disco evenings gave the place the quaint name "Chlamydia Castle". Then one actually had the thought of tearing down this striking building in this also striking place. The danger was averted in 1984, and since then the lake pavilion has been a listed building.
