In the ascent from the Klöntal, shortly before the highest point (1624 m) the trail is difficult to find at times, the terrain is also steep (obligatory longer sliding passage!). The actual pass is a little further north, a little lower. The path here partly meadow trail, especially but a lot of gravel, sometimes rough. Then steep gravel road down to the Wägitalersee.
Very beautiful landscape, quite lonely.
