The path connects Potsdam's Waldstadt district with Caputh. The section from Potsdam through the Ravensberge to the B2 is wide, well paved and has a few climbs to offer. The way the Caputher farmers used to drive their cattle on the meadows of the Potsdamer Nuthe lowland, as grassland for grazing in the Caputher environment was not sufficiently available.
