In the years 1954 - 1958, the Fatima chapel "Maria Frieden" was built in Bernbach municipal forest. In the 1960s, a Way of the Cross was built through the forest, but unfortunately soon fell victim to vandalism. The fact that the grotto is a heartfelt concern for many is reflected in the generous donations that have made possible the redesign of the Stations of the Cross since the extensive renovation since 2015. Much earlier than expected, this could also be celebrated on August 11, 2018 in a festive setting by Auxiliary Bishop. Karlheinz Diez inaugurated.
