In fact, I agree with Zatisfaction. In the year 2023 at the beginning of May we frequently checked for ticks. The weather was ideal for the little crawlers: humid and warm. It's much better earlier in the year. Otherwise, I recommend protection against ticks and collecting them! In addition, the forest remains fascinating: in March-May (depending on the weather) a large number of spring flowers bloom in this section: Larkspur (extensive), cowslips, liverworts, violets, lungflowers, wood anemones, and much more. It is a natural forest in which many different deciduous trees (maple, oak, ash, beech, etc.) and there is a lot of 'dead wood'. In autumn 2019 I found a lot of mushrooms.
