Great tightrope walk with a view of both sides, sometimes excitingly narrow, but always easy to walk.

  • The ridge path is good to walk, in some places there are rope securing. The road is wide enough, you do not have to worry about falling right or left. If you park at the parking lot of the Fellhornbahn, you can walk the path as a round - with or without a cable car. The way, however, should only be committed if it is released.

  • Easy hike, with the Söllereggbahn high and with the Kanzelwandbahn down again.

  • The hike is totally beautiful, but it should have rained quite slippery even in an intermediate piece.

  • When the weather is good, there is also a lot of public traffic - but it is understandable with such a beautiful view!
But if you are early enough on the ground, you can go much more relaxed with the train up and enjoy the view!
The first ascent (until 03.11.19) is at 8.30 and the last at the summit station at 16.50!
From 06.12.19 the first ascent is 08.30 o'clock and the last one from the summit station at 16.30 o'clock!

  • Beautiful view / to the east towards the Allgäu High Alps with the Nebelhorn / to the west with the "Hoher Ifen" and the "Gottesacker"

  • The entire ridge between the Fellhorn and Söllereck is a botanical highlight of the Allgäu Alps. Here you will find alpine roses, rhombuses, mountain knapweeds, mountain anemones and a variety of other protected mountain flowers. From the Schlappoldeck it goes with a wonderful panorama over the ridge down to the Söllereck.

  • Under good weather conditions, this tightrope walk is a great mountain experience. The all-round view is terrific!

  • Hiking on the Fellhorngrad was a special highlight for me not only because of the magnificent view far into the valley over Oberstdorf addition. With one leg you are always in Germany, with the other in Austria.

  • The Fellhorngratweg is from the view one of the most beautiful ways you can go out of Oberstdorf. However, you should not be on a weekend there on the way, as a hiker you think then, you would be on a Turi highway.

  • It is an easily walkable mostly wide ridge path and you have a wonderful view of the Kleinwalsertal and the Allgäu main ridge.

  • Great view of both sides of the ridge, to Germany and Austria. Since the train goes up to Fellhorn, in good weather is very busy. It is best to hike very early or late to enjoy the fantastic view in peace. If you want to go down with the cable car, please note the travel times.

  • A wonderful ridge path from the Fellhorn summit to the Schappold head and further to the Söllerkopf. Sturdy shoes and sure-footedness are a must. You will be rewarded with (in good weather, of course) great views of the Kleine Walsertal, the foothills of the Alps and the magnificent mountains of the Allgäu Alps.
