Dörflaser Bridge at the 50th Parallel North

The 50th degree of latitude running across the bridge is displayed on the railing with a bronze plaque. The stele next to the bridge is intended as a reminder that the bridge formed the border between the Egerian and margravial areas for centuries.

Instead of a ford of the southern trade routes through the Kösseinebach 2 bridges were built on the actual river and the Mühlbach.
In the flow regulation in the 1930s, a new bridge was built, which was renewed in 1988. The 50th parallel running across the bridge is represented on the railing with a bronze bead. The stele next to the bridge is a reminder that for centuries the bridge formed the border between the Egerian and Margravial areas.
