Here, you can hike along the Cochem Knight's Trail, amidst the babbling waters of the Faitschbach stream. Just listen and enjoy.

Now in spring the Faitschbach still has a lot of water. It's fun to hike along it. In the summer months, however, the stream could have dried up.

The term Waldschucht is a little too dramatic. The Faitschtal is a pretty wild-romantic notched valley. You run right next to the stream. The valley entrance is near the Endertstraße, you pass a former mill, the Winzerhaus. Directly behind it is a staircase to Winneburg (T2). If you continue to walk up the Faitschtal, you come to the Faider Höhe and can walk very comfortably through very old spruce stands to Winneburg. Very nice hiking trail!
