One of the top vantage points in Cochem. Super view of the city. To be reached via the chair lift or the subway below or from the train station. Both trails are steep.

The Pinner Cross is at a height of 255 meters, from there you have a wonderful view over Cochem and the Moselle. Easily accessible via a steep but beautiful ascent. You can also go up with the chairlift.

If you've ever been to Cochem, you have to be there.
With the chairlift it is no art ... But only a hike brings the right experience. You can hike up and down with the lift.
Make sure you are sure-footed and have the right footwear. Holidaymakers in sandals are impossible ... The path is very beautiful, but also a bit demanding. We recommend.

The ascent from the train station is pleasant. The view from the Pinnerkreuz is great and the descent over the Moselsteig is perfect. Surefootedness is a prerequisite

High up on the Pinnerberg, which can be reached comfortably and easily with the Cochem chairlift, is the Pinnerkreuz, a vantage point with a wonderful view of the Moselle valley. You have to go up here! There is a completely different perspective on the Reichsburg. Beautiful! And good for your stamina when you climb up here on foot!

There are several ways to get to the Pinner Kreuz.

Once from the Endert with the cable car/chair lift.

For those who like it more sporty, there is a steep path right next to the cable car, sure-footedness is required, but it is also indescribably beautiful.

Another path zigzags up near the train station. Also strenuous, but not as steep as the path next to the cable car and also very scenic with a beautiful view of Cochem.

You can drive to the game park in Klotten/Cochem (it's also on the hill) and from there it's about a 20-minute walk to the Pinner Kreuz.

Great view over Cochem

When the weather is nice it is pretty wild. Nevertheless, a great viewpoint.

If you are in Cochem, you should definitely go there way there.

Beautiful viewpoint on Cochem, you can also take the cable car up. Nice place with a beer garden.

Narrow ascent with stairs up to the Pinnerkreuz, great view rewards you after the ascent. It is also worthwhile in connection with a circular hike from the Pinnerkreuz to the Reichsburg.
