The Badischer Bahnhof Basel is the last one to be federally owned and the only one in the world on foreign territory and has been for over 100 years. A journey through turbulent times and a piece of railway history. There used to be an inch here.

Still a transport hub, but can only really be understood historically. In the past, border crossings were carried out here with appropriate controls and personnel changes. Accordingly, the station was still/already considered German territory. Of course there are French and Swiss counterparts, which explains at least part of the many train stations in Basel.
