A quick start into this beautiful path is ideal from Gimbte. From the parking lot opposite the cemetery towards Bockholter Berge over the Emsbrücke. From here, this beautiful turf path leads along the west bank of the Ems to Greven. If you want to run a nice round, you can cross the Ems after a few kilometers over a pedestrian bridge and hike back to Gimbte on a beautiful paved path ('Zur Kiebitzheide') through the Emsauen.
