    Hiking

A short hike can be easily started from Gimbte. From there, you first have to walk through the Emsauen on a paved path (with the nice name 'Zur Kiebitzheide'). After crossing a pedestrian bridge over the Ems, you can walk along the beautiful Grasnarbenweg along the Ems back to Gimbte or extend the hike by a dangling into the NSG Bockholter Berge.

    Hiking

Beautiful grassy path directly along the Ems. Far away from any car traffic, you can stroll here for a long time. The path leads to Greven or Alter Fährweg Gimbte.

    Hiking

It's always nice to walk along the water here. Due to the straightening of the Ems, much of its naturalness has unfortunately been lost.
