This single and doubletrack way through Glen Ample follows the Burn of Ample from Loch Earn to Loch Lubnaig, to the east of Strathyre. Where the Burn of Ample flows into Loch Earn, make sure you don't miss the Falls of Edinample.

Glen Ample is beautiful. However, this is a surprisingly slow section of trail. Even the double track is grassy and steep and so can eat into your time if heading South. The descent down to Loch Lubnaig is steep and fast on a good surface and over in a flash!

A hidden gem - well worth exploring on gravel or road bike. Expect to get wet feet with lots of small streams and a few river crossings. Decent fitness needed and pretty lose in parts, but such a secluded glen and great fun single track, grass and Land Rover tracks
