Well, I didn't get the loop, but I got all the centres. What an experience, completely made by the support from MVCC. From people at side of the road, to a squad at Maison Dieu, a few miles on the Harris train, to then out of nowhere there was Nicki at side of road on other side of Scotland with Mike and Erik ready to do a chunk with me. They left at just the right time (for them), after a cracking ride along Loch Tay it was into climbing, 3 cat3 climbs in quick succession took me to the A9, where I was greeted by a head wind, 8mph avg on flattish roads was challenging and at that point I was low. Messages were still coming in with support, though, and I was determined to at least get to Inverness. A quick break and a refuel I got to the last Maggie's. While I'm gutted, I didn't complete what was planned, a combination of under estimating the elevation, the wind all weekend and the forecast storm which I was going to hit made it the right choice to stop, no point being stuck in middle of nowhere.
