Here on the Domberg stands Freising Cathedral, where Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, was once ordained a priest. From the observation terrace of the Domplatz, you can enjoy a magnificent view – with a bit of luck, even as far as the Alpine foothills. The Domberg is definitely a lovely place for a relaxing break.
