Agricultural estate of 2 hectares on the island of Mazzorbo, a fine example of a walled vineyard in the Native Venice. Surrounded by medieval walls rebuilt in 1727, most of the estate protects the ancient Dorona vine of Venice, masterfully recovered by the Bisol family.
There are also vegetable gardens cultivated by some elderly people of Burano and which supply the products offered by the Osteria Contemporanea, one of the two restaurants located within the estate.
A suggestive and peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing walk between Burano and Mazzorbo.

In the north of the island Mazzorbo, the neighbor island of Burano, known for its colorful houses, is the estate of Venissa with its "vigna murata", its walled vineyard. The garden is owned by the Bisol family, who cultivate the ancient Veneto vine Dorona but are open to the public.
The entire property with a cultivated area of about 2 hectares is completely surrounded by medieval walls. On the edge of the garden is the campanile of the church of San Michele Arcangelo, dating back to the fourteenth century, which itself was built in the eleventh century.
