Between Travemünde and Niendorf, the approximately 4 km long, well-developed cycling and hiking trail runs directly along the edge of the steep bank and offers impressive views.
However, especially in the winter months, landslides and avalanches can occur, making the beach below or the hiking trail above temporarily impassable. Observe safety instructions!
