Boring for MTBs as the bike path is largely completely asphalted. It's decent up and down, but on the best asphalt and with moderate inclines. Any technical driving requirements are therefore missing. There is now a boring bypass on what was once the most exciting section.
The route can still be worthwhile: as the fastest connection between Travemünde/Priwall and Boltenhagen. (It still doesn't make the route an MTB highlight.)
But you can always take short detours away from the asphalt cycle path and on the missing section to Boltenhagen you can go on a narrow single trail with great views.
