Rest stop before the long ascent to the Rappensee Hut or the Waltenberger Haus.

    Mountaineering

Einödsbach with its small chapel is the southernmost permanently populated place in Germany.
From here you go through the Bacherloch to the Heilbronner Weg or up towards the Rappenseehütte.
It is also a nice place to stop for a break.

    Mountaineering

The 16th-century mountain inn is designed in Alpine style and is located in the scenic Stillachtal valley, south of Oberstdorf.

Einödsbach is a program in a positive sense!
Here you can switch off and leave everything behind. You can start from here to numerous hikes in and around the Stillachtal
e.g. Waltenberger Haus (3,5 h), Enzian Hüte (2,5 h), Rappenseehütte (3,5 h) and also to the southernmost point of Germany, the landmark 147 (4 h).

From the inn you look at a very beautiful mountain panorama:

Trettachspitze, Mädelegabel, Bockhardscharte, Bockhardkopf, Steinmscharte and Hohe Licht
