The oversized salt crystal in the middle of the roundabout was financed by donations and inaugurated in 2019. Illuminated at night, the salt crystal is even more impressive. Salt production is closely linked to the history of Salzgitter-Bad and the salt crystal sculpture is a reminder of this.

A real eye-catcher since 2019. The oversized salt crystal was funded with donations and inaugurated this year. With evening lighting, the salt crystal is of course even more impressive. The extraction of salt is closely linked to the history of Salzgitter-Bad and this sculpture is reminiscent of it.
