Today an autumnal variation of my cycling tour from July through the nature reserve to Oker. Start again at the oldest preserved station in Germany in Vienenburg, where there is always a parking space for the car. The paths at the heart are a dream in every season - provided it has not rained ....

On the Eulenspiegel Cycle Path with a length of almost 70 km you can learn about the Schalk Till Eulenspiegel and its life through information boards and outdoor installations at original locations as well as in nature and cultural monuments. Partially, the stadiums are very nice and lovingly designed. Scenic, this tour is also very beautiful with views of the aces, the Elm or even up to resin. Small old villages with a lot of history invite you to discover, stay and enjoy. Unfortunately, there are still many cycle paths between the stations on the tour. Fortunately, it is on the side roads for mostly tranquil and for cyclists, it is not a big problem to enjoy the view of the countryside. More information on the Eulenspiegelradweg at reiseland-niedersachsen.de/erleben/radfahren/radfernweundundradrad/eulenspiegel-radweg. I liked this varied tour between Asse and Elm in dry weather. I'll definitely drive her again next year. And another tip: The wonderful trail at 20.8 km behind Schöppenstedt is worth a trip alone.

Already centuries ago the place wg. the easily passable Okerfurt great strategic importance. Emperor Charlemagne has struck an important battle here and performed the famous Saxon baptism in 780. In addition, the Bismarkturm in the aces with a magnificent view of the Brocken, the Asseburg and some Eulenspiegeleien. A very pleasant and relaxed tour with a lot of history. Really exciting.
