This bridleway interchanges between hard packed farm track to sometimes muddy singletrack field. The views are great though and it's a good way to link other off road routes in the area

A quiet and very peaceful stretch here along Bookil Gill Beck between Langber Lane (east) and Long Preston Beck (west). Lots of grassy hills, wonderful far-reaching views, and of course the lovely becks, although do remember that after rain they can be rather raging! It's amazing how quickly it becomes quiet just a short distance out of Long Preston!

A curious little hill - one of those that might be easily missed in the hilly landscape. The few trees atop seem to cling dearly to their life, a little family of them. This is a drumlin (237m), which is a term used for hills that were carved by a glacier and are in the shape of an inverted spoon. The hill is not on the path, so you would need to walk across the field to get to it - a minute or two's walk.
