Auf dem Traumpfad Ettringer Vulkanpfad (komplett: 6,7 km) vorbei am Brunnen Hartborn und dem Rastplatz Junker-Schilling-Platz durch das Kottenheimer Winfeld. Vor 200.000 Jahren floss hier beim Ausbruch des Bellerbergvulkankomplexes einer von drei Lavaströmen. Die hohen Basaltwände wurden Jahrtausende später während des Abbaus des Gesteins freigelegt. Heute ist der ehemalige Steinbruch ein Wander- und Klettergebiet, das mitunter fast verwunschen wirkt. (Auch der Rest des Wegs ist vielversprechend - aufgrund der vorgerückten Stunde hieß es für uns aber: zurück zum Ausgangspunkt auf einem Fußweg hinter der Leitplanke an der K20.)
