Starting to explore some of the South Wales valleys on foot. It's a challenging and rewarding experience, mostly because I've cycled so many of these routes. Moving more slowly on familiar terrain is good for building mental strength too.

Had a joyous day out, stunning views across Bodmin, mostly runnable, though my excursion up Butters Tor was a bog hopping, pathless slog (probably skip that TBH). Brown Willy and Rough Tor ... Stunning. Only found one piece of trash the whole way round, including roadside, which is amazing. Beer can

Purposeful adventure ... Scooping up any single use pollution bottles, found 3 up on the hills. Put two in my OMM running vest back pocket, then completed the remaining 10k listening to the creaks of plastic bottles on my back, still stunning views, clear skies and the satisfaction of leaving the Senghenydd

Local loop, despite lots of visitors in Forest Fawr, Ganol and Wenalt, very little evidence of trash, except in the car parks ... enough said. #purposefulladventures

Our first family hiking adventure on the Natille ridge. Being a Trash free trails supporter, my eyes were not only scouting for a safe route across the rocky sections, as well as managing the overall route navigation but also for any trash or single use pollution being dropped by other hikers. Overall

Every trail run this year, I'm aiming to collect at least two items of trash (single use pollution), though hopefully this will get harder as the year goes by, as the trails will be trash free 😎😁

Hey. Nice photos and ride. Any issues camping in that spot? Would you recommend?
Wondering if you've ever wildcamped nearish to Pontsticill reservoir? I'm planning my first bikepacking wildcamping ride and am looking for something not too far from Cardiff for a day ride and a camping spot at the end

A solid trail half with some leg burning climbs, technical descents, some easy runnable sections and amazing views. Having a gpx loaded to aid navigation is a must as some signage is missing or hidden in undergrowth.
