Reddish Vale W'low Romiley Portwood
Across Reddish Vale, Peak Forest Canal, W'low, not all the way to the top, we wanted to finish before it got too dark. Due to the heavy rain recently, heading to Wernerth Low there were a few really muddy patches.

Reddish to Manchester avoiding traffic
Just a simple walk without car fumes and dodging traffic. We went bowling and wanted to avoid the crowds attending the Pride parade, so the the last part of the route isn't along the canal to Castlefield

Reddish, Chorlton, Heaton Mersey
Nice trip along the Loop, through Southern Cemetery, Didsbury then along the Mersey to the Crown. After a few beers got the 42A back to Reddish.

Some narrow paths where a stick would be handy - not so much for the walking but to push the brambles and nettles away from the path.

Alcester Travel Lodge to River Arrow avoiding dual carriageway.
Using tracks shown on maps would mean having to walk along the dual carriage way, but going round the back of the Travel lodge there's a way on to the River Arrow that is easier to start a walk southward. :)

st Milburghe's Church and Phone box library
The church is clean and tranquil despite the background noice of the traffic. It has a curious building near the entrance.
