Ride around Westbrook pt2
For some reason my Garmin (which was recording my unplanned route) decided to stop displaying the Komoot map and stop recording before I'd finished. Any suggestions why would be helpful.

Return to the Stockport Plaza and nearby historical places
A brief visit to the Stockport Plaza to witness the Compton organ being played. This organ is only 1 of 5 that remain in playable condition. We then moved on to the Town hall, which has a nearby monument to James Conway, who was a member of a 12 man Royal Marines commando team that during WW2 paddled over 80 miles to the port of Bordeaux to sabotage war ships. The feat was later recreated in the 1955 film 'Cockleshell Heroes'. Then over the road to visit to the War memorial art gallery before returning to the car park capturing a few places of musical interest en-route. Annoyingly, my Komoot app kept crashing.

A stroll around Pewterspear Green, Stretton
Pewterspear green is an open space in Stretton, Warrington that offers family friendly walks along tarmac and cinder pathways. There is a pavilion that serves hot drinks everyday between 9&4 aswell as a mixed toilet. The nearby church of St. Matthew's has a rare headstone featuring a skull & crossbones. If you follow the small trail you will find Roman style features including Janus (a 2 sided head sculpture), Roman columns and two Roman soldier sculptures. The earth sculpture (daisy) is best seen from above.

A stroll around Thriplow's Daffodil festival
The Thriplow daffodil festival dates back to 1966, when the village church needed major roof repairs. Fundraisers came up with the idea of a themed event based around the blooms of daffodils that were prevalent throughout the village. People living in the village opened their gardens to the public and made visitors cups of tea which helped to raise funds to put towards the repairs. Since then, the event has grown into a full weekend village fete, with coachloads of people from across the country visiting each year.

A brief explore of Penllergare valley woods
Penllergare Valley Woods is situated just minutes from Junction 47 of the M4 near Swansea in South West Wales. The Victorian estate was previously the home of John Dillwyn Llewelyn, a renowned horticulturist, photographer and astronomer and consists of over a hundred hectares of mixed woodland, two lakes, seven miles of peaceful woodland walks and over five hundred years of Welsh history. The site is also known for its spectacular waterfall on the River Llan, which meanders through the estate. https://penllergare.org/
