After almost the same hike (23km) with @Claudia on Tuesday, now the slightly extended round to the OpernTurm in the city center. Get up shortly after 4:30 AM and set off north in hiking gear at exactly 5 AM. Sounds crazy? It is crazy.
But also somehow awesome.
Through nature and you can really walk a lot through forests even though it goes right through the Rhein-Main area.. Result: 5 deer, 2 hares, 1 squirrel..

Third time this year after the service in the Stadtmission Arheilgen, I laced up my running shoes and headed towards Braunshardt and along the streams back to Wixhausen.
In winter I chose the route because it offers a lot of sun, and with light cloud cover and a light breeze, it was still easily doable

Short trip to Berlin with a free morning. Actually wanted to go hiking and chatgpt suggested a route of almost 21km. But I don't hike that fast or didn't have that much time. So: spontaneous half marathon, stupidly partly on hiking trails because I had briefed komoot incorrectly.

Once again participated in the Chase run, last time probably in 2023. Back then my time was 28:34, although the times are always a bit elusive as the course is simply very crowded.
Since in 2023 there were very few of us from our company team, we managed to reach 3rd place out of 1782 participating teams

Before heading back to the TECH Conference on Tuesday, I took a short morning ride. Heilbronn was also heavily destroyed in the war, which you wouldn't notice from some of the magnificent buildings and the Neckar. However, there is definitely a 1950s flair in some places - a bit like in my hometown Pforzheim....

Classic run at home in the home zone including a visit to the now destroyed lost place "Storckebrünnchen". A few days before, I had taken photos, before a fire was reported and the main house now practically has no roof. Few will miss the vacant grounds, but it would be nice if something new could emerge there if possible.

Vom Valbona Valley zurück nach Theth

What a special tour on the Pentecost weekend:
late arrival on Friday evening in Podgorica (Montenegro), a short overnight stay in the city to drive to Theth the next morning. Pure serpentine roads to eventually arrive in a valley that looks like a mix of a Canadian National Park and the Alps.

Actually, it was supposed to be a relaxed and quiet run after I had spent the afternoon at football / SV 98. The first kilometer was also more of a warm-up and taking pictures of the stork, which absolutely didn't want to turn towards the Sete.
