Eigentlich wollt ich heut in den Frankenwald und ab Naila eine Tour machen. Ein Problem zwang mich aber zum Plan B. nach Heiligenstadt

2026 - 68. Brotzeit und Frühschoppen beim Heckel. Runde ab Plankenfels
Heute deutlich unter 20km geblieben um die Wanderung in aller Ruhe auf mich einwirken zu lassen.
Warm war's zudem auch wieder - nix neues - und zudem war noch Dienst heut abend.

Eigentlich sollte meine diesjährige Wanderung nach Kulmbach wieder über Thurnau laufen. Wegen Esmeralda, die in Thurnau beheimatet ist 😉🙋🏻♂️.

Not really recommended: rustic, a lot of off-grid, risk of falling, paths overgrown with grass and blocked by fallen trees, but also sections where you could relax. The hike was to my taste.

I hiked through the Kainachtal to the bus to Hollfeld, with which I traveled to Obernsees.

Anstrengend und schweißtreibende Wanderung. Besonders der Abschnitt vom ehemaligen Bahnhof Sophienthal hoch zum Reizenstein war kräfteraubend.
Von Rügersberg hinunter nach Weidenberg konnte ich mich dann wieder regenerieren

Today again two parts of a hike. Komoot is not to blame this time. Accidentally pressed end of the tour. Still annoying.
Overall, it was an eventful tour. Especially the short ridge hike over the Kleinen Kordigast is a highlight with some light scrambling. It does drag on a bit, from Kordigast to Vierzehnheiligen
