Oh, how I love these recording errors, I always feel so sporty 😅. Well, the tour was nice anyway, it actually ended last Sunday, it was in very good condition, freshly prepared and only a few wet spots on the trail, the skater part didn't have a single stick 👌 very great trail.

It was supposed to be a long day of skiing, which it was, but on snow-covered trails, so it didn't go that fast. As an extra, we walked the Gangolfsbergloipe, but the Hillenbergloipe, which according to the website was groomed the day before, couldn't be seen because it was totally snowed over, so we didn't do this extra. Unfortunately there was a GPS problem at Gangolfsberg, which is why some of the tour dates are different than they should be. For the whole tour we need exactly 7 hours. The sun even came out for a moment around midday. A beautiful and eventful day. LG 🙋♂️ RM

Today again not spared from the recording errors. The tour was longer, had less altitude and the average speed might be about right, but I was significantly longer than
1 1/2 hours on the way. Well, still a great tour, the Irenkreuz trail was in very good condition, the Guckaspass trail was so mediocre with dirt and ice and the Kreuzberg trail was partly totally icy and dirty and partly good 🤷♂️. Nevertheless a beautiful day in the dense fog of the Kreuzberg. LG 🙋♂️ RM

A short afternoon ski tour. The track was in good condition, just when we arrived the machine was ready to prepare, just some ice in the forest and a few sticks. We ran all three laps, the big one, the middle one and the small one. The weather was a dream, blue sky and wonderful winter sun, we only experienced the first part of the sunset, it was wonderful, how the mountains were all red and this red sky, great. A highly recommended trail with little traffic. LG 🙋♂️ RM

Today a short afternoon tour on skis. The recording was a disaster. Actually 7km and 130hm. From the parking lot Moorwiese the connecting trail Wüstensachsen to the first crossing where you come to the left to Wüstensachsen and right to the Schornhecke, we are to the Schornhecke and back again to the Moorwiese. And Komoot made something strange out of it 🤷♂️. Well, it was a nice tour anyway. LG 🙋♂️

Today was the first cross-country tour this winter. The conditions in the cross-country ski center, on the old Reichsstraße and on the Holzberghof cross-country ski run were good, the Schwedenwall cross-country ski run was not groomed and we had to make our own track, the snow was pretty meager there. The condition of the Holzberghof trail was best, freshly groomed in the morning. A nice first cross-country tour for this season. LG 🙋♂️ Rhön-Milan

Today it was time to capture the first winter impressions of this winter in the Rhön, and it was really worth it. In Reulbach there is already snow, but not much. Then the higher you got it got better and better, from kilometer 1.6 you could already ski, untouched 10-13cm snow, especially a snowdrift at kilometer, where you even sunk 1m into the ground. But then the Schafstein was really special, a wonderful mountain, so isolated and so beautiful nature with an excellent view. And then, which I found very astonishing, I found a sign from an as yet unofficial extra tour, the Ehrenberger extra tour (Fig. 14), which will probably open in the spring. The Bornberg was another highlight, where we come back to the village on the way down to Reulbach, until kilometer 9 enough snow for skiing, at a chapel and the Bornbergsee, from where there was no more snow. A great day with a lot of snow and sometimes great views. LG RM 🙋♂️

From the second source of the Danube, the Brigachquelle, the other variant of the first stage ran along the second Danube source river, the Brigach. This time, too, it was a beautiful landscape through which we came, beautiful valleys, beautiful places, we also came through Villingen. In Donaueschingen, the second variant of the first stage of the Danube Cycle Path was completed.
