The weather was worse for the afternoon. Therefore today a relatively short lap without planning always following the nose. And somehow you always drive your favorite routes ...Easy to ride all routes by bike. Some climbs require a little more strength, whoever is riding an e-bike is happy. Then it doesn't matter if it's windy like today.

We didn't know the Bergmühle campsite until the site was presented in the Hildesheimer Allgemeine last week. Curiously we took a bike ride there today. Although the place is close to the highway and a federal road, it was extremely isolated and quiet. The place is ideal for relaxing in a very beautiful environment. We paid a daily fee and used the well-kept sanitary facilities during the long break.
The way back led via Holle and Söder to Bad Salzdetfurth for ice licking.
The tour contains a few steep sections, good physical condition or an e-bike is a must.campingplatz-bergmuehle.de

The Pentecost weekend is not used for a short break this time. Today chilling and grilling was the order of the day at home. Nevertheless, movement in the evening does not hurt, so we went up on the bike again and did a little tour along the Innerste to the Wildgatter am Steinberg ...... Maybe tomorrow's tour will be extended a bit. Not that the short tours are becoming chronic. We've been relatively lazy lately. 🤔😉

Recording started at the Katharinenhof campsite, so the first pictures are mixed up.

Komoot makes it difficult for me to keep calm tonight. Images from the camera on the smartphone and then upload with komoot, actually no problem. But why is the order of the pictures completely mixed up? It's just not fun that way. 🙄It is an island tour through the southern area of Fehmarn. The start and end point is Camping Klausdorfer Strand. From the depth of the castle you leave the bank area and drive back via the castle. There is little traffic except for the entrance to Burg.

The tour is half an island tour in the north of Fehmarn. It starts in the east at Camping Klausdorfer Strand and leads to Lemkenhafen in the west. Back it goes across the island on side roads. The entire circumnavigation of the island would take a long time due to the many opportunities to pause and watch. Most sections of the route are relatively easy to drive, but the effort is quite high due to the sea wind.
My tip for lunch is the restaurant "Am Deich" between the campsites "Camping am Deich" and "Teichhof Camping".
The Flügger lighthouse is the first choice for coffee and cake. You can get the best homemade apple or cheesecake with coffee there. The ascent to the tower is highly recommended, you have a magnificent view of parts of the island and the sound.

If you have such a big tour, you have to have good endurance and don't give up on climbs, or ride an e-bike. 😉Today it was dry and quite sunny, but not overly warm. Unfortunately, the "light northwest wind" turned out to be quite strong. However, we drove the tour into the wind, so that a reversal with decreasing strength or weakening battery would not have been a problem. There are also plenty of train stations on the tour (Coppenbrügge, Voldagsen, Osterwald, Elze and Nordstemmen), so that you can take a train every hour with a bicycle. At Campingpark Humboldtsee we asked for a parking space for the coming weekends. Unfortunately, the corona crisis means that the space can only be partially occupied and that everything is already fully booked. There have not been decades in which we regularly stand here with the caravan. 🙄There was ice cream at the snack bar. 😎Things are not looking good at Bruchsee: the kiosk is closed and there is no sign or indication of opening. The guests rested there and ate what we brought with us.The ride back was comfortable thanks to the backwind, but in the end we felt the kilometers clearly in our legs. We are a bit frustrated because the planned camping weekends are canceled. But who cares, there are round tours from the front door. 😉

Before the weather turns over, quickly out again. With the game gate as a destination you are always right. "Thanks" to Corona, it wasn't as crowded as usual on special days. Dog owners caused discord, whose dogs behaved somewhat, but called the raccoons on the plan, so that there was yapping. But the raccoons had started with terrible gestures. I didn't know that raccoons could scare you. Because cute, they can do it differently. 😁

The tour from Hildesheim to Hanover is particularly enjoyable in spring. The tour largely avoids the use of roads with car traffic and leads along numerous waters.
There are also no significant gradients. Komoot just messed up here. According to the map data, it should be 240 meters in altitude, but not 720. 🤣
The tour is suitable for all types of bikes. Due to the length and the high proportion of gravel and nature trails, a certain level of fitness or an e-bike is required. My wife hardly used half of her approx. 500 Wh battery in Eco. My condition is now sufficient again, so I switched off the support.
In summer you should take your bathing suit with you to take a cool dip in one of the Ricklinger ponds. The seven-meter pond has unfortunately been tipped over and swimming is officially prohibited.
The meadow roof house still delivered food to go today, from May 11th you should be able to sit down again. Some guests brought their own chairs and we sat on a blanket.
