Hike up to Raven's cragg, steep & short, but the views are great
A quick change of mind from the original plan to walk the old man, to walk Raven cragg. The walk is relatively short but very steep & rewarding views on a clear day. If you're lucky you'll get to see fighter jets flying through the valley over Thirlmere.

A great short walk i did with my mate Tony, who had done this walk albeit from a different way, and 1 to do if you're in Grasmere or not far from Grasmere, with some great views to take in, obviously there some steep parts as you would expect but nothing too challenging for abled bodied.

Good walk a bit of a horseshoe walk, which should have included Helm cragg, unfortunately time was not our side as Mick Jagger once sang. A lot of boggy ground due to the recent wet weather but manageable.

A good easy walk

A solo walk to visit an old walk, which I've not done since Covid times. The weather was beginning turn, as I was intending to do a longer walk I cut my losses, & went back down. As always, a great walk to do, especially if the weather is favourable.
