A great walk on the best day of the week weather wise, the week when Bluebird is running on Coniston so there were plenty of people about. The weather was dry & sunny with a cool breeze. Parked up at Walna scar, and set off walking up to old Man. Some steep climbs but generally there is a clear pathway. On the way up you past an old mine, with some relics to look at, then there is a Tarn further up. Once on the top we had it to ourselves, no one around the views were fantastic. Well with the effort.
