...we had already been to La Pineda before, but not really (on the way to Tarragona🙈)... this time we wanted to enjoy the drive and take detours back... it worked 😄👌.... in contrast to Cambrils and especially to Salou, it's rather quiet here, you can really relax here and enjoy the day with a beer and some tapas 👍

...today it was L'Almadrava's turn... The way there I picked was rather bike-unfriendly, bad paths, steep descents followed by strong climbs.... but the village was the real deal, a wonderful place and in summer you should bring swimwear 👍

Port-la-Nouvelle...from the parking spot (lots of traffic around -> very loud) towards the harbor, more of an industrial harbor but as soon as you pass "La Terassa" it becomes nice... Food & Drink everywhere and a beautiful huge beach 👍

The cozy little town of Dole lies directly on the river Doubs. When visiting, you follow the tomcat Titus and can thus explore the town very easily.👍... first, of course, the most famous son of the town, Louis Pasteur, and the "Grande fontaine" spring, otherwise historical buildings wherever you look.... really nice

Saarbrücken... you can tell the city was destroyed multiple times... the Ludwigskirche and the corresponding square and the town hall, adorned with sandstone figures representing the old crafts. there you can see a miner, a smelter worker, a farmer, a brewer, a merchant, and a tanner... the highlight

...and up to Montclair Castle via a designated hiking trail....first ferry across the Saar, until shortly before the Saarschleife sharp right into the woods....beautiful trail and the castle ruin (2€ entrance, CASH ONLY!) is small but nice...and the view is amazing....

Starting with the bike on the Saarradweg towards Mettlach, there in the Saarschleife the Cloepfad goes up to the viewpoints and the treetop path ... the path is approx. 2.5 km long and doable but already strenuous ... in Mettlach we actually wanted to do a Saar boat tour with the "Maria Cron" but unfortunately
