A 'decide as you go along' Coledale Horseshoe
A fab day on the fells with James, Liz, Sarah, Bryony and Adrian. We added in fells as we went along and kept the route dog-friendly for Eddie and Dave 🐶🐶 Last night's pizza went down well at lunch! Great to be back in the fells after our travels 🥰

The planned ascent nearly didn't happen thanks to the stream being in spate. So I'm pleased we found a safe place to cross because the Long Leachas ridge was an awesome way to reach the summit of Ben Alder. A cracking day ☀️

Three Munros from Culra bothy followed our bike ride from Dalwhinnie. Stream crossings in spate were the biggest challenge of the day. Relieved to be back to the tent around an hour before sunset.

The first of four legs - a multi-day adventure with Liz in and around Ben Alder. Step 1 - cycle to the bothy where we'd camp later that evening. Liz brought a bike up for me (belonging to our friend @Jessica Mather ). I'm no cyclist but I threw myself into it!

A spontaneous visit to my Kendal girlies. We walked to Low Sizergh Barn for coffee and cake and had a good natter along the way. We said hello to countless other walkers enjoying the sunny afternoon after a LOT of recent rain. Life is good 🥰

A very foggy day on 2 of the Crianlarich Munros with Liz. Luckily the nav was straight-forward and in spite of the clag and lack of views, the wind was low so we actually enjoyed the exercise and the atmospheric environment. Lovely camaraderie with other hikers too.

Welcome to Day 1 of our trek across Mallorca on the GR221! As this was a fairly last minute girls trip, you'll find that this isn't a classic Day 1 stage of the GR221. The trail routinely begins in Port d'Andratx but we had to play around a bit with the itinerary and begin our trail in Sant Elm.
