Today we went to the mouth of the Rur (Roer-mond).
Via Bracht and Brachter Wald we went to Swalmen, a very beautiful piece along the Schwalm. From Roermond on we followed the course of the Rur as well as possible. A little behind the mouth of the Wurm, we left the Rur in the direction of Wassenberg. Via Birgelen (Birgeler Urwald), Dahlheimer Mühle, we went to De Meinweg National Park. Here you can drive very nicely through the forest on great bike paths, you just have to watch out for pedestrians who have lost nothing there. In Brüggen the route went through the Schwalm meadows via Born to Nettetal.
On this tour there was a lot of beautiful nature on mostly well-developed bike paths or roads.

When the Moers found out that Moers had no mountains, the 3 mountains built themselves. Cool thing.
The tour goes around Moers to the dumps in Northern Germany, Pattberg and Rhenish Prussia and to the lakes Waldsee, Uettelsheimer See and Bergsee. At just 46 km, the experience factor is very high. We repeat this tour every time in sunny weather.
