Followed a route made by Katherine and John. The ride was great. There was a muddy section I had to push through, and a rocky descent which seemed a bit much for my bike that I got off for, but other than that it was great. Nice route!

I planned the route to include the strawberry line and Festival Way. This ride taught me a few things, firstly that it's time to fit guards for the season, and also I need to wear gloves. My hands and feet for very cold by the end.

The trails were dry and the going good. I did this route on my Sinder Colibri which is more of a road bike with light gravel capabilities. Because the ground was nice and hard it performed brilliantly. 100% recommend this course! I even had a close encounter with a stag, but was a bit slow to pull my camera out and only got some distant pics.

Visiting friends in Oxford. I popped up to my old place of work at RSPB Otmoor to see the progress. I was told by some avid birder's that bitterne are booming and breeding successfully which is great to hear.
