The travel package also included a trip with the HSB to the Brocken.
Since the voucher explicitly mentioned "without bicycle", bb packed the Birdy. Later we found out that bicycles are included in the fare and - if there are not too many - can travel in the luggage car.

It was a pleasant tour, always slightly downhill and varied paths. There was everything from road with and without a cycle path to single-track through the grass with subsequent tick check.
In Halberstadt itself, we pushed the bikes most of the time to look around in peace, hence the slow pace.
