Our tour was supposed to lead to Blauwestad. But afterwards we also found the open garden in Oostwold. A wonderful place to marvel and linger. Anyone who still wants to participate: The garden is closing permanently on the first weekend of October after 35 years.

So, nobody will probably believe this now. Claus has actually discovered a third, centuries-old stone with a wonderful pattern at the church. We then immediately named this stone after its discoverer.
And shortly thereafter, there was a fourth one, a Dietrich stone. 😄

Die Nikolaikirche in Weene ist schon ganz schön alt und wurde in der zweiten Hälfte des 13. Jahrhunderts gebaut. An den kleinen Fenstern kann man noch romanische Züge erkennen.
