GeoGarten Bochum - always worth seeing!
You can also get to the Erzbahntrasse after the Bochum club: Because the Laufhaus had no run, I was able to drive well, then partly on the track bed of the old works connection. So the komoot path is somehow correct.
Shortly before the end, a very small Walpurgisturn. Rommenhöller track no change. And so that the 100 were full, also a swerve over the Hohe Warte - but downwards.

Marking with praise and thanks to the scout for the elaboration of the entire impressive tour through the areas south of the Ruhr.

Encouraged by Jochen #mtbbikerruhrgebiet komoot.de/user/411853112683 with his tour komoot.de/tour/366230745 I wanted to take the direct route through the fields from the Gruga to Mülheim, Witthausbusch and Kahlenberg, find. Anyway, I liked it.
In the course of the tour there are some steeper places / steps / stairs to overcome, but most of them can be avoided. The way there can be designed without any obstacles.
When driving up from the Forstbachtal to the Steinknappen there are still some steps in the field in front of the buildings that are not mapped.
On the descent to the Rumbachtal near Neckel, maybe take the further western curve (I don't know the nature of the path) or, better still, take the Rembergstrasse straight away . Further down the slope is suitable for gravel or mtb.
Finally, from the "Essener Aussicht", another view over Essen and into the Emschertal. And at the very end the "Hohe Warte" and the "Hohlweg", the latter only halfway and currently downhill in accordance with regulations.

The tour is based on the 'Deep in the West' part of the tour planning by jule_radelt komoot.de/user/899933050911 "Spin Spark - Ruhrgebiet (scouted by Jule Wagner)" komoot.de tour / 350429759 in connection with ORBIT 360 komoot.de/user/orbit including your tour "GRVL | Wilde Tiere" komoot.de/tour/234662001.
I left out the south-western part of the tour planning in Ratingen and Duisburg and instead chose the connection via Waldsee Lintorf / Krummenweg, Hummelsbeck, Linnep Castle and Breitscheid for duck fishing. Actually, I would want to stay east of the BAB3, because the one between the Hösel rest area and Kaiserberg represents the approximate boundary line of the (geological) Rhine terrace to the Rhine valley - for example. from Breitscheid via the Selbeck golf course and the Haubachbrücke permanent construction site to Tannenstrasse. I ticked Gut Hülchrath and Diepenbrock just for myself.
I added a northwest part towards Uni DU-E. Perhaps that can also be expanded to the Kaiserberg. The du-mh forest is simply beautiful for cycling. The Kaiserberg and the Expo58- / old zoo bridge in Duisburg are striking and worth seeing points of the coal pot for me.
For the further course, I mixed in the "wild animals" back to the original tour planning.
At Landsberg Castle, I made an excursion to the forest and castle. In the eastern part of the stream, the forest was a wilderness of fallen trees, so I stumbled more than drove or pushed.
For information, I mark jule_radelt as "instigator". Again, a big thank you for the great templates.
