Today we walked from Bonn, the Bonner Bogen along the Rhine to Königswinter (we could have walked to Linz). We were rewarded again and again with wonderful views left and right along the promenade. The many small bays on the banks of the Rhine invite you to linger. In front of Königswinter, the famous Petersberg sits enthroned on top of the mountain and further on, the Drachenfels, which is truly worth seeing.
We went back by ship, and we got back wonderful hiked memories.translated by•View Original

This is truly an enchanting circular hiking trail, especially along the old Rhine bed. The insights into nature, which has been deliberately kept untouched and left to its own devices, are just great. In between there are information boards and corners to linger. The further course then back on the (new) Rhine is also impressive. The view over to the old fortress of Zons is rewarding at the end of the round.translated by•View Original
