A walk with friends from Ghent in the Pajottenland, specifically the Paddenbroek in Gooik. (This is an official walk) The first 4 km were okay, through fields, along streams, but then it got worse, through new neighborhoods, crossing a very busy dual carriageway twice, even more new neighborhoods

A walk with friends from Ghent to the purple flowers in the Hallerbos. They were pleasantly surprised by the combination of hyacinths, wild garlic and wood anemones, early May another walk along the thousands of lily of the valley. Closing with a dinner at brasserie "Kriekske" on the chapter.

A bike tour through Pajottenland to admire the blossoms, unfortunately we were too early or too late to see the blossoms but we did spot a few. There is so much to see and experience along the way, a must-visit is Paddenbroek in Gooik where you can drink a very tasty cappuccino at a very democratic price

Today a walk through the beautiful arboretum of Kalmthout. As a flower lover, this arboretum is worth discovering. We even spotted the very rare Wollemia tree (see photo 27)
For garden lovers, this is a must.
