We liked the hike in the lower part of the Verzasca so much that we walked further to Sonogno.
And lo and behold: the valley is much more open here and is more reminiscent of alpine pastures with meadows and scattered hamlets. Very beautiful!
At Sonogno you can walk further to the La Froda waterfall, but that was too far for us.
