The second stage of the Kraut-und-Rüben-Radweg is mostly flat. So you can enjoy the country idyll on the way from Haßloch to Offenbach at the Queich without much effort.Behind Haßloch you dive right into the beginning of a forest. With the refreshing sound of the leaves in your ears, you will cycle towards Speyerdorf. On the other side of the village you drive surrounded by a sea of grape vines on Duttweiler to Altdorf. After you have crossed the village, the landscape changes: Instead of grapevines now colorful fields and wide meadows accompany you along the way. Every now and then you come through small villages and shady forests, which provide especially on hot summer days for pleasant freshness. If you want to take a break on the way, you have many options: Cozy benches and rest areas invite you to take some relaxing breaks in nature. In the villages you can find refreshments and on the way, because many farms have a farm shop or a courtyard café, where you can make a stopover.Arrived in the stage destination Offenbach at the Queich, you can end the day in Queichtalbad. To lay down your tired head, you have a small selection of places to stay in the place. More choice and a train station can be found in about two kilometers away in Landau in the Palatinate.
